I was interviewed along with Judy Rebick on CBC morning, Nov 1 2011


2011 has very tragic off season in professional Hockey with the sudden deaths of Derek Boogaard, Rick Rypien and Wade Belak.  Former NHL player Geoff Courtnall who’s father committed suicide when Geoff was a teenager, kept the details of those circumstances a secret until questioned by a reporter in 1994.

At the fundraiser for the Coast Mental Health Foundation, Geoff talks about the Mental Health stigma in hockey.

Does this look like healthy behaviour?

An in-studio psycho-analysis of David Blair on his recent Hockey fanaticism and erratic creative behaviour by Sound Therapy Radio Hosts (J Peachy, Conan and Randy) and Ryan Fletcher. As some know David created a song which expresses his twisted love for a local hockey team. However, those of us in the studio don’t think its really something that is very healthy in the long run.

Some believe he has Acute Accentuated Delusional Hockey Disorder (AADHD), a condition more likely to occur in the spring.

Shane Koyczan the BC Based Spoken Word Artist and Writer who garnered international attention for his performance of ‘We Are More’ at the 2010 Olympic opening ceremonies.  We speak to Shane just over a year later at Vancouver City Hall about his thoughts on the planned Casino expansion and if he is proud of his country.
