We have some young talent in the studio today to celebrate the beauty of mixed roots culture, Violinist Jocelyn Pettit joins us to play live in the studio. We also have Trevor and Rowan who are two boys that make up the Whitridge Brothers. Both groups will be performing at Hapapalooza in Vancouver.
In addition we have a conversation with Vicki Leaman, a mental health advocate who is putting on an event for suicide prevention day in Port Moody. Vicki talks about losing her young son and her new mission to raise consciousness on this issue and to create change in the systems that surround us.
